Scott’s primary focus is on our Assets Under Management (AUM) program, and he is actively involved with client service, investment research, and portfolio management. Scott earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification through the College of Financial Planning and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®) through American College. His securities licenses include Series 24 (General Securities Principal), Series 31 (Futures Managed Funds Exam), 7 (General Securities Representative), 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Exam), and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Exam) and insurance licenses in life, health and long-term care.
Scott is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC), and Leadership Frederick County and is a Trustee for the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Frederick County Community Foundation, the Board of Advisors for the Mount St. Mary's School of Business and he Chairs the City of Frederick Investment Committee.
Scott has been quoted in the Frederick News Post, the CFP Board Consumer Newsletter, Smart Company Magazine, and Frederick Magazine and was a key speaker at the CFP Board Financial Planning Conference in Washington DC. Reuters, Bloomberg, the Daily Record, and Frederick Magazine have recognized Scott.
Scott was also very honored to be able to present on financial planning topics at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, and believes firmly in giving back to our community and supporting our society.
